Because pontoons are often docked all summer long, they are constantly exposed to the elements. Sun, rain, and cold, can take a toll on them quickly.

The good news is that the base structure is usually built of aluminum or other long-lasting material. Decking and upholstery can be replaced at a fraction of the cost of a new pontoon boat.
